When our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies are in balance we are best able to enjoy, honor, and manage the events of our lives. Here are a few easy steps to let Feng Shui encourage your health.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Intention for excellent health
  • Square piece of yellow paper
  • Mirror
  • That which brings a smile to your face
  • Platter of fresh fruit

Step1
office.microsoft.com Summer? Autumn? Longer days and stifling nights? Cooler days and longer nights? Swimsuits and sandals? Sweaters and socks? Hay fever or a nasal cold? Ah-choo! Red noses and weepy eyes. Tea and tissue… lots of tissue. Curl up on the sofa, get comfy – let’s chat about how you can easily use Feng Shui to encourage health, no matter what the season.
Step2
The Health area is at the center of the Feng Shui Bagua map, and in many ways at the heart of it all (visit www.fengshuiatyourservice.com to see the nine Bagua life areas). When our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies are in balance we are best able to enjoy, honor, and manage the events of our lives. If you are experiencing a health concern, please seek advice and help from your healer of choice – these Feng Shui suggestions are not intended to replace the care of your chosen healer.
Step3
office.microsoft.com The shape resonating with the health area is the square, the colors are earthy (yellows, browns, rust), and the number is nine. The element here is earth, which correlates with flat and horizontal. Because we say ‘laughter is the best medicine’, this is a great place for humor (photos, books, mementos – that which brings a smile to your face, laughter to your heart).
Step4
To begin, clear clutter and clean this central place. Tend to your kitchen even if it is not in the Health area. Here are two important things to remember. Be sure the stove top is kept clean; it not only symbolizes wealth but is where meals are prepared and food becomes energy for our bodies; also keep the inside of the refrigerator clean removing food no longer fresh. Place a platter of tasty fresh fruit in this area. When you see your reflection in a mirror, smile BIG and say “I am the picture of health!” Write nine statements of gratitude to encourage robust health on a square piece of yellow paper – leave it in this area (it needn’t be visible, but OK if it is). Set an intention of gratitude for excellent health – even if that may not be what you are feeling right now.
Step5
office.microsoft.com In all areas of your home check for items in need of repair. Then repair or replace. In Feng Shui your surroundings are a metaphor for your life; you want your surroundings functioning at 100%.
Step6
In addition to western medicine there are many modalities to explore if we are presented with a health concern, or to possibly avoid a health concern by making a more active connection to wellness early on. For thousands of years the Chinese have used herbs and acupuncture, we can too. We have access to Reiki, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Chiropractic, Massage, and many other forms of wellness support. Look into a Fitness Program. What Nutritional Testing reveals might amaze you. Find out about Xango juice. Try the Feng Shui suggestions in this article. We are blessed to have many forms of support to investigate. Life is good!
Step7
office.microsoft.com If you have a health concern, seek professional advice. Let the Feng Shui of your home serve as an adjunct to your return to wholeness. In gratitude and with an intention to serve.
