Have you got a couple of cans of Chili beans laying around? I have a way to make them a pretty cool side dish.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • One or two cans of chili beans. Onions, green peppers, halapenos, anything that you like. There are lots of brands of this stuff out there. Ground beef, quarter to half pound depending on your taste.
  1. Step 1

Open those cans of chili beans toss into a pot. Start warming those guys up.

  2. Step 2

Start chopping the onions, peppers and anything you may like into small pieces. Cilantro? throw it in, mushrooms? Oh yeah, you get the picture. OH jeez I almost forgot, ground beef. Brown in separate pan.

  3. Step 3

OK, now drain your meat stir into the beans. Take your chopped veggies toss them in too. I found simmering your mix for about an hour works good. Stir occasionally.

Tips & Warnings
  • Cooking is like art or music, its subjective. Some folks like it one way and some folks like it another way. My recipes are basic, you add or remove ingredients as you see fit. Like when serving these beans put some grated cheese on top. I think you get the picture.
  • The only warning I can think of is, after chopping hot peppers DON'T rub your eyes, pick your nose or well, you know, er, touch...... come on, you form your own visuals.
