Step 1
Go to the Amazon site to see more photos of the Kindle book reader now that it is back in stock. (See direct link under resources, below.) You may simply want to order it from Amazon. With their great shipping rates, this is an easy method to owning your own Kindle.
-
Step 2
Browse the online auctions for Amazon Kindle listed on eBay (see Resources link below for the latest auctions). While the prices vary, they are often slightly slower than the regular price for Kindle on Amazon, although the convenience factor may make buying from Amazon the simplest method.
-
Step 3
Check Craigs List. If you live in a major metropolitan area, you may luck out and find a Kindle locally, which would save on shipping.
-
Step 4
Register your Amazon Kindle with your Amazon account online. You'll need to enter the product serial number as directed.
-
Step 5
Purchase books, newspaper subscriptions and other media through your new Kindle or through your Amazon account on the computer.

on 11/7/2008 Another great thing about the Kindle is that you can buy eBooks to be delivered to your wireless reader that haven't even hit the print world yet.
