Amazon Kindle, an eBook reader, gives users easy access to thousands of books, newspapers, magazines and blogs. The Kindle is a handheld device that at one time was not even available on the Amazon site. As of 2011, all someone has to do to get one is follow some clicks on that site.

      Go to the home page of kindle.amazon.com.

      Click on the link to either buy a Kindle or download an app. As of 2011, the Kindle with Wi-Fi cost $139. Some other Kindles cost as much as $379.

      Browse auction sites like eBay and Craigs List if you're willing to take a chance on used Kindles.
