How to Make Your Own Hair Detangler

Spray homemade detangler into your hair to make brushing easier.

Many women and girls have problems with tangled hair, especially in the morning. While you can use a detangler to make it easier to comb, these products get expensive and can leave you at a loss if you run out. Create your own hair detangler at home easily and inexpensively.

Things You'll Need

• Spray bottle
• Conditioner

Instructions

1. Squirt about 2 tablespoons of conditioner into a medium-sized or large spray bottle. If you are using a small bottle, reduce the amount of conditioner.

2. Add water to fill the bottle, replace the lid and shake well to mix the water and conditioner.

3. Spray a small amount on the tangled area and begin combing. Apply more if needed for larger tangles. This spray can be used on dry or damp hair.

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before each use to redistribute the conditioner.
