Here is a super-easy card to make for Mother's Day. The materials are from Stampin Up!, with the exception of the pink self-adhesive rhinestone, which can be found in any craft store.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • card stock in the following colors: Very Vanilla, Basic Black
  • Eastern Elegance Rub-Ons
  • Happy Mother's Day Stamp (can be found in the All-Year Cheer II set)
  • black ink stamp pad
  • one pink self-adhesive rhinestone
  • foam tape
  • paper cutter or scissors
  • bone folder
  • double-sided tape
  1. Step 1

Cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock in half, so that you have two pieces that are 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches long. Fold one of these pieces in half, using the bone folder for the crease.

  2. Step 2

Using the extra piece of Very Vanilla card stock (the one you didn't fold in half), cut out a square about 2 1/4 inches on each side. Then stamp "Happy Mother's Day" in black ink.

  3. Step 3

Cut a square of Basic Black card stock that is about 2 1/2 inches on each side. Use double-sided tape to affix the Very Vanilla square to the black one.

  4. Step 4

Cut out the rub-on images. You will probably want to arrange them before removing the backing so you can ensure that you have them in the right place. Arrange them as shown in the photo or improvise if you want to do something different. When you are sure you have them where you want them, remove the backing, lay the images on the card stock, and rub firmly with the enclosed stick to transfer it to the card stock.

  5. Step 5

Use foam tape to attach the back of the black square to the front of your card. Remember you only need a little bit. Four very small pieces, one in each corner of the back of the black square, are sufficient.

  6. Step 6

Affix a self-adhesive pink rhinestone to the square with "Happy Mother's Day" on it, as shown in the photo.
