Step 1
First off you need to understand what the problem is. Im sorry to tell you but if when you try to run Call of duty 4 it says glow has been disabled etc or something with GLOW. This means you cannot play call of duty 4. You need a better video card than the one you have. www.google.com/ search Call of Duty 4 System Requirements

Step 2
Now a huge problem people have is uninstalling call of duty 4. Like for example if you want to uninstall/refresh basiclly your call of duty 4 because of overload on mods etc or another reason most people say when you try to uninstall call of duty 4 it says Error: cannot find installer C:/DOC\4328754 <--- fake but something close to that.

Step 3
*BEFORE YOU DELETE MAKE SURE YOU SAVE YOUR RANKS SAVES ETC!!!SAVE THE FILE CALLED MPDATA.. ITS IN THIS LOCATION C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles\ *NEXT CLICK YOUR PROFILE AND COPY MPDATA TO SOMEWHERE ON YOUR DESKTOP* What you need to do is make sure you remove call of duty 4 completly..
Delete the folder
C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare
Next go into your START which is in the lower left corner of your screen.
START > ALL PROGRAMS > ACTIVISION > CALL OF DUTY 4 now when you find that put your mouse over it and hold shift then right click and then go and click delete.. the next step is to make sure all icons are removed.. so basicly have it compleley removed. you will see it in your Add/remove programs list. but thats fine. Next thing to do is reload your disc and then nothing is supposed to pop up. if it does then close it. next go to Start > My Computer > then go to your D: drive or the drive with call of duty 4 in it. > Run the install
