Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
To hook up a keyboard you have to plug it into either a USB slot or if it is not USB, then it will match the shape of the plug on your computer.
Step2
If your computer say.....crashes and you can't go to your bios, check the keyboard first and then if it is not working buy a new one and try that instead of buying a brand new computer. If the keyboard was not the problem then you can always take it back.
Step3
If you are having trouble with a Vista laptop, like whenever you close it, it goes to the log-in screen then this will help.
First right-click in the middle of your desktop screen, then go to personalize->screen saver->change power settings-> on the left it says choose what closing the lid does->then you got it from there.
For Windows xp you right click->properties->screen saver->power->and that is it!
