Including your children in planning and preparing meals helps kids feel good about themselves and learn about important nutrients and foods at the same time. This recipe will be a great dinner to prepare and eat with the family.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1-2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 can cream soup
  • Cheese
  • Tatar Tots
Step1
Brown 1 to 2 pounds of ground beef, chuck or round in a large skillet.
Step2
Pour beef into a casserole dish making sure all kids are away from the hot substance.
Step3
Add one can of creamed soup( I use cream of mushroom) and mix together.
Step4
This is my kids favorite part. Top casserole with your choice of cheese(Velveeta works great). Then cover with a layer of mini tater tots.
Step5
Bake about 20 minutes at 375 degrees or until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle casserole with additional cheese as desired.
Step6
Let cool for at least ten minutes and then dish out for the family. Now you have a family dinner on thw table and have spent quality time with your kids. Now you can sit down and have a nice healthy meal.
