- Poster you've made for "Dare Fest"
- Crown embellished with faux jewels

Step 1
Send an e-vite to your friends inviting them to your leap year party.

Step 2
Since leap year is unusual, have each guest predict what unusual event will happen to them this year, i.e. "I'll get married," "I'll fall in love," "I'll get a huge raise," etc. Write all of the predictions down and put them in a shoe box. Open the box at the end of the year with friends.

Step 3
Have each guest bring an unusual dish, like chitterlings, etc. Have them put it on a table when they've arrived and call it "Dare Fest."

Step 4
Dare Fest is a game. The guests who taste the most outrageous dishes will be crowned Leap Year King and will wear a crown designed by the host.

Step 5
Turn on the music and allow the guests to socialize. Bring out snacks and drinks for guests to enjoy.
