How to Make a Natural Bath Sea Salt

This natural bath sea salt will help heal your body and moisturize your skin when used every day in your shower. For years, Mediterranean women have used olive oil on their skin to keep it soft and supple. We have learned that there are antioxidants from the olive oil that help s protect and cleanse the skin. The sea salt used as a light scrub will exfoliate dead skin, while the olive oil moisturizes and soothe.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Olive oil
  • Sea Salt (course crystals)
  • Container
  • Essential Oil (Optional)
Step1
Get a container for your Natural Sea Salt to be made into and stored. I use a plastic container that will not break in the shower should it fall.
Step2
Apply your Natural Bath Sea Salt gently on your skin and rinse with warm water.
Step3
Fill the container with the course crystal sea salt.
Step4
Pour the olive oil over the sea salt. Use a spoon to stir up the mixture, and add more olive oil as needed.
Step5
If you choose to add scent, add essential oil.

on 10/5/2008 This is a great idea! I've been using a men's bath wash that has the gritty minerals and while I love the sensation I could have the same effect for much cheaper and better doing it your way! Thanks so much!
