on 9/22/2008 Dear ItsMsNoItAll,
I have been using baking soda to whiten my teeth for several years and I have never had a problem with it damaging the enamel. In my tips and warnings I warned people about brushing their teeth to hard with baking soda because as you said it is an abrasive and could certainly do damage. However, everyone is entitled to their own oppion and I appreciate yours. Thank you.

on 9/20/2008 I asked several dentists about this method and ALL have suggested against it. It's an abrasive and enamel do NOT like abrasives!!!!
