Those little Valentine's cards you buy at the grocery store can be cute, but all you can do is write your name on them. If you want to really personalize your cards, make them from scratch.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Cut hearts out of construction paper and glue them on the paper doilies.

  2. Step 2

Use another piece of construction paper for the card itself. Fold it in halves or fourths, depending on how large you want your card to be.

  3. Step 3

Glue the doilies and hearts onto the card. Spread some glue on the card and then sprinkle glitter over the top. After the glue has dried, at least partially, tip the card up and tap it gently over a paper plate to remove the excess glitter.

  4. Step 4

Write lovely sentiments with the markers. Because this is your own homemade card, you can write as much as you want. Your effort will be much appreciated by your Valentine.
