This delicious pina colada frozen dessert is easy to make and delicious. It is also low calorie and low in fat.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Vanilla yogurt
  • Flaked coconut
  • Can of crushed pineapple
  • Plastic dish
  • Spoon
  • Freezer
  1. Step 1

Spoon a cup of vanilla yogurt into the plastic dish or bowl. You can use non-fat, low fat, or regular vanilla yogurt for this frozen desert.

  2. Step 2

Add a quarter cup of flake coconut. Using sweetened coconut creates a higher calorie count. Unsweetened coconut is recommended.

  3. Step 3

Stir in a half cup of crushed pineapple, including juice, from the can.

  4. Step 4

Mix all the ingredients together well. If you are not happy with the consistency, add more yogurt, coconut, or pineapple to suit your tastes.

  5. Step 5

Put the plastic dish into the freezer and wait half an hour. After that half an hour, take the dish out and stir and chop up the mixture well. Repeat this step until the pina colada yogurt is completely frozen and of a chunky consistency.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use pineapple chunks if you chop them fine.
  • Mix all ingredients in a blender for a smoother dessert.
