1. Book a room and travel to the Hotel Del Coronado. It is just a fifteen minute drive from the San Diego airport and located at 1500 Orange Avenue in Coronado.
2. Ask about Kate Morgan. The staff there will tell you this sad tale of a woman who, in 1892, tried to save her marriage by meeting her estranged husband there. He never showed, and she was later found on the beach dead from a gunshot wound to the head. Ruled a suicide, foul play is still considered.
3. The ghost of Kate Morgan is said to be responsible for several paranormal events. Book room 3312 to stay the night in Kate's old room and you may experience cold spots and spooky noises.
4. Room 3312 booked already? Request room 3205! This room has also reported some paranormal occurrences including window curtains being blown by unseen winds. Spooky!
5. Beach at Hotel Del Coronado Before you leave be sure to take a walk on the beach. The site of Kate's mysterious death may still hold some echoes of past misdeeds and dedicated ghost hunters may be able to get some EVP work done during the darkness of night.
