Step 1
Do you have any causes that are significant to you or your spouse? You might want to make a donation instead of favors. People don't usually have any use for favors anyway.

Think of things that represent both you and your significant other and try to make something meaningful. If you love dolphins and he loves 80s hair bands try photoshopping together a picture of dolphins with long hair and spandex and attach a saying that reads 'Two become one'. Or something equally clever.

Get M&Ms printed up that say something besides your married name and wedding date. Try things like: Too Cute for Words or She Must be Crazy!.
