Instructions

    • 1

Allow hair to dry if you've just washed it. Wet hair is more prone to damage from brushing.

    • 2

Use a natural-bristle wooden brush to brush long hair. Natural boar bristle is recommended.

    • 3

Comb hair first with a large-toothed comb to remove any tangles before brushing.

    • 4

Bend forward at the waist, allowing your hair to hang over your head toward the floor. Brush from your head toward the ends of your hair. Use long strokes and allow the brush to move evenly through your hair.

    • 5

Straighten back up, allowing your hair to fall naturally, and brush on the underside of the hair, brushing straight down.

    • 6

Brush the top of your hair after brushing from the underside for a few minutes. Follow brush strokes with your other hand to keep your hair smooth and to keep it from developing static.

Tips & Warnings

  • Start with a few strokes with your head bent and then with your head erect. Then, work your way up to the number of strokes that feels comfortable for you.

  • Reduce the number of strokes when brushing if your hair becomes too oily.

  • Do not over brush. This can damage hair, creating split ends.
