How to Bunny Hop on a Kick Scooter
The scooter is a classic toy that's been around for decades. They've become increasingly portable over the years and have spread from the neighborhood cul-de-sac to the corporate park. Although they're not as versatile as skateboards, they do give their riders the ability to do tricks. Of all these tricks, the bunny hop is undoubtedly the most fundamental.

Instructions

1
Find a flat, clear area where you can practice the trick. Parking lots and driveways are the best.
-
2
Get up a decent amount of speed. You don't need to sprint full out into the bunny hop, but moving at a decent pace makes it easier to do.
-
3
Grab the handle bars with both of your hands. Make sure they're evenly spaced across the bar so that you don't twist it to either side during the jump.
-
4
Pull up on the handlebars and jump into the air. Keep your feet on the deck but allow the scooter to rise off of the ground with your legs. You should feel like you're pulling your body up.
-
5
Travel straight through the air. Making a controlled landing is tough if the scooter is crooked when it hits the ground.
-
6
Land with your feet set in place and your hands firmly gripping the handlebars. Shifting your weight onto the balls of your feet helps distribute the jump's impact throughout your muscles and joints.
