      Add water to the pot. Make sure there's enough water to cover the hot dogs.

      Put the pot on a burner on the stovetop and turn the burner to high heat.

      Bring the water to a boil.

      Drop the hot dogs into the boiling water.

      Turn the heat down to medium-high and allow the hot dogs to boil for five to seven minutes or until done.

    This is terrible. First of all, I don't see how much water is supposed to be added. I am awfully confused with step 1 since the directions aren't clear. I was forced to guess and survived fortunately. When I dropped the dogs in the boiling water, I got burnt from the splash, BE CAREFUL! The preferred cook time (5-7 minutes) seems rather harsh to me, as all that was needed for me was roughly 4-6 minutes. Thank you for the rest of the information though! They were delicious.
