1. Get an urban ninja outfit that fits with the urban style of your area and allows you to be a little bit anonymous. Converse All-Stars, a low hat and a pair of loose jeans or pants are good as long as a significant part of your urban ninja outfit is black or a dark color.

2. Work on parkour moves or freestyle running so you can vault over walls, jump railings, bound from rooftop to rooftop or improvise any other kind of leap, flip or spring. Use your parkour skills to move around just where most people consider movement to be impossible.

3. Practice important gymnastics moves like handsprings, spins and flips that you can use to improve your martial arts prowess, strength and flexibility. Work towards the art of evasion and confusion by employing gymnastics techniques but be ready for some street fighting-style martial arts if push comes to shove.

4. Know some of the secrets and methods of tradecraft, or the set of skills and techniques used by professional spies. Among the most important skills to learn are the ability to know when you're being followed, losing someone who's following you and setting up drops to publicly exchange information or physical items without meeting your counterpart.

5. Maintain stealth and silence whenever you can. Practice your urban ninja skills at all times by trying to suddenly appear to or disappear from friends as you're making away around your urban environment.
