1
Find a clear area in which to practice the head stall. You'll need plenty of room to chase the football when it drops to the ground, so avoid doing the trick indoors near fragile furniture or light fixtures.
-
2
Pick the football up and carefully place it on your forehead, as you lean your head back. The best spot for the ball is right around your hairline in the middle of your forehead.

3
Hold the ball in place until it feels balanced.

4
Slowly remove your fingers from the ball and allow it to balance naturally on your head. This is the tricky part and will likely take you many attempts to successfully pull off.
-
5
Move your head, neck and upper body with the ball to control its movement.
