Step 1
Avoid public displays of affection. No one wants to watch you two play tonsil hockey or grope each other, and no one wants to wait while you and your boyfriend have an intimate conversation in their presence. A quick kiss when you arrive or before you leave is fine but save the rest for when you're alone together.
-
Step 2
Give him some time off. Don't try to tag along to every outing he has with his friends or insist that he spend all his free time with you. He can't enjoy an afternoon of touch football if he has to worry about whether you're having fun watching, and he can't enjoy himself with you if he knows his friends are off playing football without him.
-
Step 3
Treat his friends as if they were your friends. You may not like them, but you should make an effort to get to know them. Ask about their jobs, their hobbies and their girlfriends. Don't just talk to your boyfriend, and don't ignore his friends if you see them when you're not with your boyfriend.
-
Step 4
Keep your disagreements private. Don't use his friends as sounding boards when you're fighting with your boyfriend or try to get them to choose sides. They're going to side with him, even if they think he's wrong.
-
Step 5
Be kind. Never tease, insult, or humiliate your boyfriend in their presence. Don't share private information about him or run him down. Similarly, don't run his friends down to your boyfriend.

on 4/21/2008 Good Advice. I think that I would also add though that being too in with your boyfriend's friends might not be the greatest idea either. If you steal his friends away with your charming personality, you boyfriend may not be very happy with you:).
