How to Be an All Around Good Student

You can do well in school and get a top report card by being a good student. A good student follows the rules, completes the work and gets good grades. Follow these tips to be an all around good student.

1. Read all your assignments and complete them on time. Clarify all the parts of the assignment so you don't make mistakes. Taking the time to ask questions shows you care about the project.

2. Study for all your tests. Read all the material ahead of time and prepare study notes. Use the notes to help you get a good mark on your test.

3. Do all your homework and hand it in on time. Even if you have trouble completing some work, do what you can and bring it back to school. Teachers will know that you have done your best work and won't be upset if you got stuck on some questions.

4. Try your best on all your school work. Some people seem to learn things more quickly than others but trying is the most important point. All anyone can offer is a sincere effort to do their best and that will always be appreciated.

5. Get extra help when you run into trouble. You can ask the teacher for help, another student or a tutor. Good students ask for help when they need it.

6. Participate in class discussions. Offer answers in class. Even if you don't know the answer, your teacher will recognize your attempt.

7. Study with a friend or join a study club. It's always a good idea to get a second opinion when doing assignments or studying for a test.
