Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Be polite and get rid of the attitude. It's OK to be angry or frustrated, but it's not OK to be rude or sarcastic. When you act rude, people feel angry at you and you don't want that.
Step2
Clean your room and keep it clean. Parents want you to tidy up so, just keep it tidy on a regular basis and you'll get rid of a lot of stress in your home.
Step3
Help out around the house. Everyone loves a volunteer and when there are chores to do, your help will be greatly appreciated. Empty the dishwasher and clear off the table.
Step4
Communicate with your parents. Parents want to know how you are feeling and what you are thinking. They aren't the enemy. They care, so tell them what you are thinking and keep the lines of communication open.
Step5
Go to your parents if you get in any kind of trouble. No one is really perfect and we all need help from time to time. Turn to your parents and they'll know they can trust you to make good decisions.
Step6
Do your homework. You can keep your parents and your teachers happy, not to mention all the good it does you, if you do your homework each day. Try your best and keep your grades up.
Step7
Pick good friends and bring them home to meet your parents. Your parents will be happy, and so will you, if you have kind friends who aren't going to get you in trouble.
