1
Relax. Take a deep breath and blow it out. Let go of whatever it is that has gotten you so upset. If you need to pray, now is the time to do it. Release that thing that has come over you. You don't have to fix everything.
-
2
Stay away from politics. Have an opinion, vote, talk about the weather. But, whatever you do, do not talk politics--especially with the opposing side.

3
Take care of all the details only you can handle and let the rest work itself out. You are not in control of the universe. Things are going to come up that you can't plan for. Plan for everything you can plan for and let the rest slide.

4
Listen to or read stories of people's first blunders. Listen to a president's first public address. Read about the personal lives of the people who you think are in control but may not really be. Get a better view of what people are all about, understand that everyone misses things sometimes, and write down your funny blunder tales to tell others.
-
5
Talk about your short comings and failures with trusted individuals. Don't share your failures with people who will remind you of them when you fail. Surround yourself with people who are hard workers, yet are laid back.
-
6
Take quiet breaks frequently. When life gets to be too much, do the quietest thing you love. Read a low stress book, watch a comedy movie, walk along a secluded beach, go to the library, or sit in your favorite chair without any distraction. Take a break from life and be laid back.

Tips & Warnings
Don't take drugs or downers to be laid back. It is superficial and doesn't leave a positive long-term affect. Rather, drugs can be detrimental to your health and well-being.
