How to Arrange Six Flower Buds

To make a flower arrangement with six flower buds, use small containers or an oasis to hold each bud in place. You can arrange them in a traditional circular formation, or line them up so each one is viewed individually. This is a terrific way to display them on a small surface. Read on to learn how to arrange six flower buds.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Ceramic tray
  • Six votive cups
  • River rocks
  • Six flower buds

    Traditional Arrangement

  1. Step 1

    Fill your flower tubes with water and place each bud in an individual tube. Put the tubes into a small vase or container to hold each bud a pleasing flower arrangement.

  2. Step 2

    Break a piece of floral oasis to fit a small container, such as a shallow bowl. Thoroughly soak the oasis in water and place it in the bowl. Start with the largest bud and place it in the in the middle, then surround it with the other five buds. Cover the flower arrangement with moss or ribbons of the oasis shows through.

  3. Step 3

    Use floral wire or floral tape to make a criss-cross pattern over the top of a small, shallow dish. Fill the dish with water and place one bud in each opening. Hide any tape with moss or ribbons to make a more attractive arrangement.

  4. Step 4

    Embellish any of the above arrangements with greenery or filler of your choice.

  5. Straight Line Arrangement

  6. Step 1

    Fill each votive cup with water and add one bud to each votive cup.

  7. Step 2

    Place the most attractive or the largest bud in the center of the tray.

  8. Step 3

    Arrange the remaining buds in the same fashion and place them onto the tray.

  9. Step 4

    Surround the votive cups with river rocks, crystals or sea glass, whatever you prefer. You can also leave this step out if you prefer for a cleaner and more modern look.
