Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Dress down, especially if you are going to be involved in something that is not so innocent. Just as red cars get pulled over more often, people in extreme clothing get the suspicious eye more than preppy or neutral dressers. Stay away from black leather, face jewelry and wild haircuts that make you stand out.
Step2
Walk lightly with a bit of bounce to your step. People who are guilty of something often hang their heads and drag their feet heavily or they might run. You've probably seen enough police shows--only the guilty run.
Step3
Smile sweetly at your accusers if you are being accused of something. Your facial expressions can get you into more trouble than an overt illegal act. Don't sneer or roll your eyes at authority. Look people straight in the eye and let your face be the bearer of your convictions. They know your innocence when they look deep into your baby blues or browns.
Step4
Hang with people and places that do not have bad reputations. People often label you and believe that just because your friends are guilty, it proves that you are too. Guilt by association is a big downfall for people who choose to look and act innocent to stay out of trouble.
