Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Conduct an informal poll of young voters to find out which issues are important to them. Ask friends, neighbors and younger family members about their political leanings and which candidates best reflect their views.
Step2
Visit the Service Vote website and click on the "Issues" button to learn about how major issues affect the youngest voters.
Step3
Log on to social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace and look for groups or pages dedicated to political candidates. Since many young people frequent these sites, you can peruse these groups for a good idea of those issues important to the youth.
Step4
Go online and visit The League of Young Voters website. This organization is dedicated to empowering young people to engage in the political process and will provide a solid foundation for understanding which issues interest young voters.
Step5
Check out the Rock The Vote website, which encourages young voters to become involved in politics and to create political change in their communities.
