How to Use Google Checkout

Purchasing on the Internet is easy when you use Google checkout. Instead of setting up multiple accounts with each online store, set up just one account with Google checkout. Buy from one merchant or one hundred merchants but check out just one time with Google checkout. Use Google checkout at participating merchants.

Instructions

1. Search for online merchants that accept Google checkout. You will see a picture of a shopping cart with the words "Google checkout" next to it. This identifies the merchant as a participant.

2. Shop this merchant as you normally do. Look at clothing, electronics, CD's or any products you care to buy. Pick out the items you want and add them to your shopping cart.

3. Check out your purchase by clicking the "Google checkout" shopping cart icon.

4. Sign in to use Google Checkout if you are already a member. Sign up for it if this is your first purchase. Fill out the registration form.

5. Review your purchase order. Click on finish to finish this transaction. Wait for your purchase to arrive in the mail.

6. Go to other online merchants and follow the steps three through five to make your purchase through Google checkout. Use Google checkout for all your online purchases.

Tips & Warnings

• Click the box that says, "keep my email address confidential" and Google will not allow this merchant to see your email address. You have added security and you will not receive unwanted emails from the merchants.

• Track all of your online purchases from your Google checkout page. See at a glance which ones were processed or shipped.
