Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 12 study 8 oz. plastic cups
  • 12 craft sticks
  • 1 qt. cran-raspberry juice
  • 1 qt. grape juice
  • 1 pt. vanilla yogurt
  • 2 cups frozen whipped topping
  • Red and blue food coloring
  1. Step 1

Assemble all the equipment and ingredients before starting. Measure 4 cups each of the cran-raspberry juice and grape. Set the whipped topping out to soften.

  2. Step 2

Mix the grape juice with the water to achieve a blue color. Add a little water until the right shade is produced. Add blue food coloring one drop at a time.

  3. Step 3

Pour the blue grape juice into the plastic cups. Divide the juice evenly among the 12 cups so that each is about 1/3 full. Set the cups in a shallow baking pan and put them in the freezer. Push a craft stick into the center of the juice when it begins to freeze. Allow the pops to freeze solid.

  4. Step 4

Mix the yogurt and the softened whipped topping. Remove the cups from the freezer. Divide the yogurt-whipped topping mixture evenly among the the 12 cups. Replace the cups in the freezer. Remove when frozen solid.

  5. Step 5

Work with the cran-raspberry juice and red food coloring to achieve a bright red color. Divide the mixture evenly among the 12 frozen cups and replace them in the freezer.

  6. Step 6

Remove the cups from the freezer. Hold each cup sideways under a slow running tap of cold water to loosen the Skyrocket Pop and serve.
