How to Do Flat Poses While Skydiving

The increase in the popularity of skydiving is linked to the popularity of freestyle skydiving. There were over 2.5 million jumps reported in 2007. Falling from the sky, skydivers perform an endless number of stunts and poses. Check out these various ways to do flat poses while skydiving.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Keep your torso flat and straight facing towards the ground. Point one leg down into the wind and keep the other leg straight in line with your upper body.

  2. Step 2

    Pull your arms back to help you maintain a flat position. This is a Tee.

  3. Step 3

    Maintain a horizontal position with your torso. Raise one arm above your head and place the other arm at your side so both arms are in line with your upper body.

  4. Step 4

    Take the downward facing leg and bend it forward at the hip to a 90-degree angle. Bend your knee back so that the toe touches the knee on your straight leg. Keep your toes pointed and your head even. This is an Oblique Stag.

  5. Step 5

    Straighten and extend both legs away from your body. Split your legs as far apart as possible with one leg facing down and the other raised toward the back.

  6. Step 6

    Hold the knee on your back leg with the hand on your back arm and keep the other arm at your side in line with your body. This is the Flat Penche. These are just a few ways to do flat poses while skydiving.
