The clothes, pets and igloo accessories make the penguin over at Club Penguin. Club Penguin caters to the need to shop by offering a variety of catalogs scattered throughout the Club Penguin site. Most items are only available to members, but they do offer a few items to all Club Penguin players.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Begin your shopping spree on Club Penguin by purchasing some extra colors for your penguin inventory. Find the color list in the "Penguin Style" catalog in the "Gift Shop." Colors are 20 coins each, and you use your penguin color to let other penguins know if you're a boy or a girl, or you can choose a neutral color if you don't want people knowing your gender.

  2. Step 2

Flip through the "Penguin Style" catalog, located in the "Gift Shop," and choose from a variety of jackets, hats, themed outfits and accessories. Make sure you flip to the back of the catalog for the clearance section, which highlights clothes going out of season for a cheaper price. Check the catalog each month for new items.

  3. Step 3

Look through the "Big Wigs" catalog while you're in the "Gift Shop" and get your penguin a new hairdo. You can pick styles that fit your personality, like a mohawk, spikes, afro or pigtails.

  4. Step 4

Become a pet owner by visiting the "Pet Shop" in "The Plaza" and buying a Puffle. Puffles are little fur balls in different colors that you feed, play with and protect. Red and blue are the only colors available to all players, while members have more color options.

  5. Step 5

Check out the other pet catalog in the "Pet Shop" for Puffle furniture, such as food dishes, beds, houses, scratch towers and running wheels. If a Puffle seems like too much work, the back of the second catalog sells a turtle, fish and a bird.

  6. Step 6

Visit "The Stage," located in "The Plaza," and browse through the costume catalog. This catalog lets you buy mascot costumes, cheerleading pom-poms, a hat, jackets and a hairstyle. Costumes are a fun addition to your inventory.

  7. Step 7

Visit your igloo, and deck it out with the coolest furniture, rugs, posters and party accessories, so all your Club Penguin friends will want to hang out at your place. Click on "Edit Igloo" and flip through the "Better Igloos" catalog for all the igloo accessories a penguin needs. If you have enough money, you can turn your little igloo into an ice castle, mansion, bi-level igloo or even a snow globe.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be on the lookout for free items available throughout Club Penguin. Walk up to anything that moves or opens, and see if it's a free item. Free items are for all players, regardless of membership. Free items change as the theme of Club Penguin changes.
  • A couple of things available to all players, regardless of membership, are Puffles and player card backgrounds. Player card backgrounds cost 60 coins and change the background other penguins see when they click on your profile.
  • New catalogs are released all the time. If you see a penguin wearing an item you've never seen before, ask them where they got it, and see if a new catalog has been released. You can also watch the Club Penguin newspaper for information about new catalog releases.
