How to Import Contacts to a Multiply.com Account

Multiply.com is a free website where you can upload pictures, albums, music and videos to share with your friends and family. It makes it easy to stay in touch with people by importing your contacts from your current email program.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Register for a free account at Multiply.com if you do not already have one, or log into your existing account if you are already registered.

  2. Step 2

    Click on the tab that says "My Site" at the top of the page. Scroll down the page until you see "Contacts."

  3. Step 3

    Place your mouse where it says "Add Contacts" and click. Wait for the next page to load.

  4. Step 4

    Scroll down to see the list of places you can important contacts from. These include Hotmail, Yahoo, Microsoft Outlook, GMail, MySpace, Orkut, Friendster, Ebo, and AOL. Click on the program you wish to import from.

  5. Step 5

    Enter your user id and password for the other program, and then click the button that says "OK." Choose the contacts you wish to import, and click "OK" again. To import contacts from a second location repeat the process for the next program you wish to import from.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also export your multiply.com contacts to import at another site. Go to the "Contact" tab at the top of the page, and then choose "Export Contacts."
  • To delete a personal contact at Multiply, go to your "Contacts" page and click on the contact you wish to delete. Then choose "Remove As Contact" or "Remove", depending on how you have your page set up.
