Step 1
Find an authorized dealer for Huffy bicycles in your neighborhood to find a model that fits your BMX budget and needs. Since Huffy is one of the largest bicycle manufacturers in the world, you can buy a Huffy BMX bike from a variety of locations, such as bike shops, department stores, toy stores and sporting goods outlets. Huffy bikes are sold in over 10,000 retail outlets all over the world.
-
Step 2
Buy the right Huffy BMX bike that will enable you to fulfill your biking objectives, such as the affordable Axis line or the Pro Thunder, which has been designed for younger riders. Some models are designed for racing and jumping and are lighter in weight and features than some of the other models. Other Huffy BMX bikes are designed for freestyle and more casual riding and include safety features such as reflectors, kickstands, chain guards and fenders.
-
Step 3
Remember to buy the appropriate accessories when you choose a Huffy BMX bike. A helmet should always be worn while riding a BMX bike, along with safety goggles and padding for the elbows and knees. Gloves can be considered optional and should be fitted properly to allow for comfort and blood circulation through the fingers.
-
Step 4
Include a small tool kit when you buy a Huffy BMX bike. Jumping and racing in BMX activities can be quite punishing on the tires, and you should always carry a patch kit and small CO2 canisters to keep your tires properly inflated, as well as spoke tighteners and small wrenches.
