Maybe they'll learn something along the way as well. Here's how.

How to Make a Personalized Coloring Book for Kids

First, think about what your child is interested in. What are they learning about in school that they find especially challenging or what do they want to learn more about?
Step2
love birds~ Find images that relate to your child's interest. Either search through your own photo files or go online and search for images that relate. For example, if your child is learning about birds in school, find some images of birds and download to your computer.
Step3
Open the picture file in Adobe Photoshop.
Step4
Image with Find Edges filter Under the Filter tab find go to the "Stylize" command and then to "Find Edges." This filter turns your image into a line drawing suitable for a coloring book. Print.
Step5
Continue this process with other images of interest to your child. Print each one until you have about 10 coloring book pages.
Step6
Add crayons and have fun!

Tips & Warnings

  • These coloring book pages are great for older children, kindergarten through 4th grade.
  • There is a little remnant of color to most images, so if you want to get rid of that simply convert the image to black and white, or print with black and white only.
  • The simpler the original image is the clearer your coloring book page will be. Keep it simple.
