How to Use Free Classifieds Online

There are hundreds of free classifieds available online to help you market your website, blog or affiliate program. You just have to know how to use them.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
The key to getting results with free online classified ads is all in the strategy you use. Just placing one ad here and there will not bring you good results.
Step2
Start by finding a high traffic classifieds site like salespider or adlandpro (full list of free classifieds in resources box below). Once you find a site that you know will have a high potential of being seen by many people, begin by looking at all the available headings that they offer. List your ad in EVERY heading that would even closely relate to your topic.
Step3
Then, try rewording your ad and place the new ad under every heading as well. Do this at a minimum of five popular classified ads sites. Then, once a week, come back and see how many visitors you got to each ad. Get rid of any ads that aren't getting good views (most sites track the number of visits for you, look in the "my account" area). Then, try designing a new ad, and place it in each category at all the sites.
Step4
After about a month, you should have a good idea as to what site brings the best results for your product. You will want to run as many as five differently worded ads on this site. Then, begin searching for new classifieds sites that you could begin the process with.

Tips & Warnings

  • The main idea is repetition. Keep your ads fresh on each site.
  • If after a few weeks, you get no results, look for a new site to add to your list.
