How to Make a Jonah and the Whale Craft

Jonah paid a "whale" of a price for not obeying God's command to preach to the people of Nineveh. Make this adorable Jonah and the Whale craft with your kids to help them remember this timeless Bible story.

Things You'll Need

• Cardboard
• Markers or crayons
• Blank CD
• Glue
• Scissors

Instructions

1. Cut the shape of a whale out of cardboard or other stiff paper. Make sure the whale's mouth is large.

2. Let your child color the whale. You can use markers or crayons for this step.

3. Next, have your child glue the CD at the whale's mouth. The shiny side of the CD is what you will see.

4. Now when your child looks at the whale, she will see her own reflection in the whale's mouth. This will remind her that we are always to obey God's commands.
