Things You'll Need:
- Courage
- Motivation
- Groceries
- Carry on cooler
-
Step 1
First begin by replacing all sugar drinks. Experiment...this should be FUN. Replace Coke with Diet Coke, or Dr. Pepper with Diet Dr. Pepper. Replace whole milk with fat free milk. Drink a lot of water all throughout the day.
-
Step 2
Set a goal to go an entire week with NO calorie drinks, and then on Sunday reward yourself with ONE favorite calorie drink.
-
Step 3
Replace fried foods and fast foods with non fried foods. Great choices are SONIC: grilled chicken wrap. TACO BELL: Soft grilled chicken taco, or bean burrito plane. OTHER: grilled meat or beans with steamed veggies or salad.
-
Step 4
On Sundays get into the kitchen! Cook a weeks worth of healthy foods. Store the food in ready to carry containers and plastic bags. Then in the morning, pack a carry on light cooler and stuff it full of prepared foods, fruits, veggies, and water, and your diet drink replacements or protein drinks.
-
Step 5
Eat a large, healthy breakfast. EXAMPLE: 1/2 cup real oatmeal (not instant or packaged), with sweetener and fruit, egg whites with salsa, and turkey bacon. Or Protein pancakes (see article: How to make PROTEIN PANCAKES) with sugar free syrup and fruit or turkey bacon.
-
Step 6
Prepare foods such as grilled chicken, tuna, salmon, turkey, black beans, fat free refried bean, egg whites, fat free cottage cheese, etc. Replace chips with crunchy foods such as carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers. Replace desserts with fruit, gum, or a diet soda. Eat as much veggies as you can, steamed, grilled, or fresh. Eat good cards such as whole grain or whole wheat bread, pasta, tortillas, brown rice, oatmeal, etc.
-
Step 7
Carry gum or peppermints to put in your mouth instead of eating that piece of chocolate, package of chips, or candy bar. Place bags of protein powder in your bag to make protein drinks with great flavors such as chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, the list goes on.
-
Step 8
Just by following these few easy steps, you'll start to notice the weight fall off. Add exercise such as weight training and cardio for rapid results. I lost 20 lbs following these tips, and have kept the weight off since 2003. Thanks for stopping by!
