How to Get A Great Nights Sleep

Step1
The first thing to change is the lighting in your house especially in the bedroom. Take all fluorescent lights out of the rooms. The reason is that the “whiteness” color that they reflect makes the brain stay alert and you can’t fall into a deep sleep mood. Most couples have at least two lamps beside their beds. Remove the 100 watt bulbs and add an electric candle or use candles. The scent is calming. It is a great way to trick the brain from associating bright lights with daytime.
Step2
The second thing is the temperature of the room. Knowing your body is the key. If you are a person that hates to be cold, then make the room warmer that requires a blanket to cuddle with. Make sure that you might wear reflects the way you like to sleep. The night wear should be loose. There is a hormone known as melatonin that decreases in a women’s body, about 50 percent, when she wears tight fitting clothes. The restriction of movement will also keep you waking up instead of a solid amount of REM sleep, also known as deep sleep.
Step3
The third thing is to change the scent of the room. Scent calms people and that is what you need to sleep. If you use candles make sure they are scented. I also suggest that you look for linen spray that is in your favorite scent. The use of potpourri in a glass dish near your bed will help create an aroma in the air. I suggest that you wash your bed clothes, especially your pillow cases in a lavender scent. You can even find scented sleeping mask. Just remember to not overdo the scents and again know yourself scent pleasures.
Step4
The last thing is energy in your bedroom, either from decor or from electric current, is important. You need in having a bedroom with the décor that is easy and comfortable. The flow of energy in the room will impact your sleeping hours and filter into happiness during the daytime hours. You need to reduce the electromagnetic fields by you head, so simple place the alarm clock with a wind up one.
