    Make Aftershave with Herbs

  1. Step 1

Place all the herbs in your jar. Cover the herbs with the rubbing alcohol and glycerin. Shake the jar vigorously to mix the ingredients.

  2. Step 2

Let the herbs steep in a dark place, such as a cabinet, for two weeks. Shake the jar at least once a day during this period.

  3. Step 3

Strain the steeped herbs and discard the solids. Pour your herbal aftershave into the bottle you want to use for dispensing it.

  4. Step 4

Splash the aftershave on your face after shaving. To get the best results, make sure you shake bottle before each application to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed.

  5. Make an Herbal Aftershave With Essential oils

  6. Step 1

Combine the first four ingredients in your glass jar and mix thoroughly.

  7. Step 2

Add the essential oils one drop at a time, mixing and guaging the resulting scent before you add more. Essential oils are potent, and once added, cannot be removed, but you can always add more if there is not enough.

  8. Step 3

Shake the jar to mix all the ingredients thoroughly, and then store in a dark place for one week, shaking at least once a day.

  9. Step 4

Pour your herbal aftershave into the bottle you want to use for dispensing it.

  10. Step 5

Splash the aftershave on your face after shaving. To get the best results, make sure you shake bottle before each application to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed.

Tips & Warnings
  • The alcohol contained in aftershaves acts as an antibacterial, helping prevent any nicks and cuts from getting infected. Glycerin helps moisturize dry skin.
