Things You'll Need:
- Parsley plants or seeds
- Vegetable garden
-
Step 1
Plant a plant rather than seeds. Parsley is insanely easy to grow but it takes a long time to germinate from seed, so you're better off planting a plant. If you allow your parsley to flower, it may attract parasitic wasps, which are pests in the garden. Many gardeners also use it to repel asparagus beetles, and rust flies and beetles on roses.
-
Step 2
Plant your parsley near tomatoes to help their growth.
-
Step 3
Give parsley full sun and well-drained soil--it likes that. You can harvest it throughout the year as you need it, and if you allow it to flower, it may self-sow.
-
Step 4
Plant the parsley anywhere. Parsley doesn't have any known enemies, so you can plant it throughout your garden.
