Rate: (3 Ratings)

When the holidays come around there are many tasks to be done. One of the many is buying and sending out holiday cards. This can become expensive and boring. Liven up your holiday cards with some creativity and fun. The fun part is in seeing if anyone notices that you have sent them back their own card!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Shoe box
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • A nice pen
  • Assorted card envelopes

Step1
Save your holiday cards. If you have already saved your holiday cards from the last holiday you are one step ahead. If not, you will need to collect and keep all of your holiday cards, including the envelopes. Store your received holiday cards in a shoe box. Make sure you can look at them a year later and know who they were from.
Step2
Take out your shoe box with your holiday cards in it. Copy the card's verse onto the opposite side of the card.
Step3
Cut the image out that is on the front of the card, and paste it onto the inside of the card on the right side, covering the original verse or phrase.
Step4
Sign it and seal your new and recycled holiday cards into envelopes. Send the same cards back to the original senders.

Tips & Warnings

  • Some people like to write a lot on the card's inside. You would need some card stock to replace that card and use the designs and verses.
  • Have your children help you with this new tradition.
