Steps on how to defend yourself against a order of protection.

   Make sure you follow all the rules of the order. If the other party is harassing you file an order against that person.

2. 

   Record phone calls email text messages so forth. If you have no contact with the person go to court and explain your side and be sincere and considerate in the reason the order was filed.

3. 

   Go to legal aid at your local office or look for your legal aid in the phone book and get further advice.
