Step1
Everyone knows to lose weight you have to eat less, right? Kind of. You have to consume less calories than you require on a day to day basis. A very common way to diet is with a version of a meal replacement diet. Jenny Craig or mail order diets or milk shake diets or even Jered's Subway diet are all versions of this diet. INSTEAD OF FULL MEALS, YOU EAT A MEAL SUBSTITUTE.
Step2
The easiest way to do this diet (in my opinion) is to replace breakfast and lunch, and eat a full dinner, no snacking. Usually this is where you go buy a 48 pack of chalky milkshakes or call Jenny Craig for prepackaged frozen meals, BUT, consider this: The providers of these products are BUSINESSES. They are out to make money so they want you to believe you need specialized products to keep your hunger at bay. You don't.
Step3
Now what you need to do is start looking at labels. Look at how many calories are in certain staple foods in certain quantities. Sound like too much work? I'll recommend a couple. Oatmeal is awesome. If you have oatmeal go right now and look at the box (tube?) a full cup, uncooked, of oatmeal is 280 calories. Prepared that's three cups. You couldn't eat three cups of oatmeal! That's a big meal, one that metabolizes slow and will keep you going all day. Switch breakfast to oatmeal and go EASY on the toppings. Butter, brown sugar, fat and carbs, don't eliminate them, just go easy.
Step4
How about other foods? Rice. A potato. A bowl of soup will fill you up. We're used to so much abundance of flavor, the flavor of fat, the flavor of sugar in excess. It is this excess that keeps us overweight. Our bodies are designed, and have worked for thousands of years, based on the amount of calories contained in these staple foods. If we ate only these foods we would maintain our weight correctly, naturally. So it's simply a matter of counteracting our PROGRAMMED EATING HABITS.
Step5
Avoid salad. Cause, when people eat a salad, they don't eat a salad, they eat ranch dressing, chicken, bacon, blue cheese, fat and carbs piled a mile high, and sitting on a tiny pile of lettuce. And people are so blind they can't see the fatty meal in front of them. Don't try to force yourself to eat some zero calorie miracle plant by saturating it with slimy globs of pure saturated fat! That's stupid! Just eat real food. Normal, human food, without all the B.S. Pasta. Vegetables. Jered's lean subway sandwich. Stay consistent, don't snack, pick a food you like for breakfast and one for lunch that's low cal but wont leave you starving, and eat it every day.
Step6
Fat people are unattractive. They are undisciplined. You look at them and even if you don't say it out loud, you look down on them. They're physically repulsive and for NO REASON. Endless streams of inner monologue streak through people's minds when they hear this. Justification. Write offs. Lip service. You don't want to believe it. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO ADMIT TO YOURSELF WHEN TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT IS THAT EXCESS FAT IS PHYSICALLY REPULSIVE, UNHEALTHY, AND ENTIRELY POSSIBLE TO SHED. You can do it. You CAN stop lying to yourself. Go ahead, use the word. Fat. Not chubby, not big. Fat. Can you do it? If you can't, you will die fat. Fat, ugly, unaccomplished, and early. If you can, you're on your way. Eat oatmeal for breakfast every day. Eat soup, or a big potato for lunch. Every day. In a month you will be skinnier. It's easy.
