How to Make Toilet Bowel Cleaner at Home

Cleaning the toilet bowl is no one's favorite thing to do. There's no getting around having to do it, but at least you can get around the cost of the cleaners you use. Make this simple recipe up for sparkling toilets with little or no scrubbing. Soak your toilet bowl brush at the same time to keep it clean.

Things You'll Need

• 1 cup hydrogen peroxide
• 1 tbsp. ammonia (you can use lemon for a clean scent)
• 1/2 gallon water
• Bucket

Instructions

1. Mix all the ingredients together in a bucket.

2. Pour the cleaning solution into the toilet bowl.

3. Let stand for half an hour. For a badly stained bowl, let it sit for 3-4 hours.

4. Scrub the inside of the bowl with your now squeaky clean toilet bowl brush.
   Flush and you're done.

Tips & Warnings

• NEVER mix household ammonia and scouring powder together. It will release a toxic gas.
