People won't believe you cooked this gooey, cheesy casserole by the heat of the sun (well, mostly, anyway). Serves four as a side dish.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Solar Oven
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 2 c. chopped broccoli
  • 1 lb. American cheeses
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. minute rice
Step1
Preheat solar oven for about 30 minutes.
Step2
Heat butter over a medium flame on a conventional stove, and then add onion.
Step3
Sauté for a few minutes, until the onion begins to clear, and then add broccoli and celery and sauté until all vegetables are tender.
Step4
Combine the vegetable mixture with the rest of the ingredients.
Step5
Pour into large pot with lid.
Step6
Sprinkle with paprika.
Step7
Place in solar oven for one hour or until cheese is melted.
