Things You'll Need:
- Paper plates (the generic thin, white plates work best)
- Small rock or pebble
- Tape
- Plastic spoons
- Rubber bands
- Markers or paints

Step 1
Color or decorate the paper plate first.

Step 2
Supplies for paper plate birdCut the paper plate evenly in half, then cut one half of the plate into three equal pieces.

Step 3
Tape one of the three cut sections to the half paper plate that is facing up. (this is the base of the bird).

Step 4
Place two plastic spoons together to create the head of your dove and place the pebble in the middle of the spoons. Bind the spoons together with a rubber band.

Step 5
Tape the spoons to the bottom of the paper plate and draw a bird face on top of the spoon.

Step 6
Paper plate dove flying in the skyMake your dove fly by throwing it like a paper airplane. Adjust the pebble or rock size and weight in the bird’s head to improve flight.
