Dimension on scrapbook layouts is and eye catching element that is extremely appealing. There are several ways you can add dimension to scrapbook pages. One easy supply to have on hand is Pop Dots. These adhesive dots are simple to use and fairly inexpensive to purchase.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Scrapbook paper
  • Stamped images or die cuts
  • Pop Dots
  • Paper trimmer
  • Desired scrapbook supplies
  1. Step 1

When decorating your scrapbook layout or adding embellishments and photographs, decide what things you want to emphasize.

  2. Step 2

Once you have decided what you are going to feature on your page then simple place a Pop Dot or two on the back or the die cut or other item and stick it in the proper place on your page.

  3. Step 3

You can use Pop Dots on more than one item on the page, but they work best when used in moderation.

  4. Step 4

Once you have finished your page and have created dimension with the Pop Dots then you are ready to slide your layout into a plastic page protector and display it in your scrapbook album.

Tips & Warnings
  • Pop Dots can be used to “pop out” the entire image or just a portion of the item. For example, you can use a Pop Dot to raise the middle of a flower die cut while the rest of the flower is flat on the paper.
  • Pop Dots can also be used to add dimension to photo graphs and other page elements.
