Here is a self-defense technique by Noah Spear.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Buiu is presented as an attacker on Noah. Noah is sitting down with his back turned to Buiu.

  2. Step 2
    Step 2
     
    Step 2

    Buiu approaches with his knees behind Noah's back. Noah wearily turns.

  3. Step 3
    Step 3
     
    Step 3

    Noting a situation that is precarious, Noah immediately lowers his hands toward Buiu's heels.

    Noah pressures back while holding the heels of Buiu.

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    Noah scoots around on his butt toward his left and posts on his left hand and right foot.

    Noah lifts his hips off the mat and throws a kick toward Buiu's face.

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

    Noah comes up to his feet, prepared to ward off Buiu and retreat if possible, altogether avoiding more confrontation.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't hurt anyone while practicing this, the goal is to create distance and get away.
