Step1
Taking a long walk, is just that, taking a very long walk... You must have a destination when walking far such as a mile marker to see how long you have walked or have a destination landmark such as a juice bar or shopping plaza...
Step2
Prime location. A prime location when going towards a search for where to walk would be a very big subdivision or neighborhood. Long walks can be where ever such as in a forest or across a beach...
Step3
Carry a backpack with things you need such as Gatorade for when you get thirsty and some trail mix which is very healthy for you... You can also bring something to do when you get to the end of your path such as paper and a pen...
Step4
Weather... I have learned that for walks the best time to go on them is in the Spring... It is not to hot or not too cool, it is just right. And stay away from rain when going on a long walk...
