Often we have parties at our homes or our children's classes to exchange Valentines. Here is a fun game that you can make at home in time for your next party. Your kids are sure to enjoy playing it.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3/4" x 2'x 18" piece of plywood
  • 1/2"x 36" Dowel rod
  • Wood glue
  • Sandpaper
  • 9/16"spade bit
  • Hand saw or chop saw
  • Electric drill
  • Paint
  • Tossing rings
  • Damp cloth
  1. Step 1

Lightly sand a piece of plywood to ensure smooth edges.

  2. Step 2

Using an electric drill with a 9/16" spade bit, drill 5 holes in the board. Put three in the front and two behind, forming a pyramid shape. Space the holes out evenly.

  3. Step 3

Cut the dowel rod. Using a chop saw or handsaw, cut the dowel rod into five sections, each measuring 7 inches in length. Then sand around the top edges of the dowel.

  4. Step 4

Place a generous amount of wood glue around the bottom of the dowel and insert it into the previously drilled holes. Use a damp rag to wipe up excess glue.

  5. Step 5

    Let it dry overnight.

  6. Step 6

Once the glue is dry you can paint your ring toss game any color. Paint hearts and other Valentine decor on the game.

  7. Step 7

Use diving rings from the swimming pool as your tossing objects.

  8. Step 8

Give special Valentine's treats to kids who win the new ring toss game.
